Hatha Yoga is a traditional form of yoga. The term "Hatha" comes from the Sanskrit words “Ha” (sun) and “Tha” (moon), symbolizing the union of opposing forces. Hatha Yoga seeks to balance the energy of the body and mind, promoting physical strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. This practice typically involves slower-paced, gentle poses, making it accessible for beginners while still offering depth for advanced practitioners. Through regular practice, Hatha Yoga enhances physical health, reduces stress, and fosters a sense of inner peace. It is often considered a foundation for other forms of yoga, providing the essential tools for achieving overall well-being and mindfulness.

Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and structured style of yoga that focuses on synchronizing breath with movement in a set series of postures. It was popularized by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in the 20th century and is based on the ancient teachings of the Yoga Korunta, a text that outlines the Ashtanga practice. The name "Ashtanga" means "eight-limbed," referring to the eight limbs of yoga outlined by Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras, which guide the practitioner toward a balanced and disciplined life.

Vinyasa Yoga is a style of yoga that emphasizes the flow of breath and movement, linking each posture with an inhale or an exhale. The term "Vinyasa" translates to "arranging something in a special way," referring to the intentional sequencing of poses in a fluid, continuous manner. Unlike Ashtanga Yoga, which follows a fixed sequence of postures, Vinyasa offers more flexibility and creativity in the flow, allowing instructors to design varied classes.
